Following the total destruction of the natural Earth by the Draconis alien forces a century and a half ago, the remnants of Humanity, scattered throughout the Solar System on various Stations, Outposts and Mining Colonies, pooled together whatever resources were available to construct a new home for the half million humans still left. Armored on the outside with its only entrance protected by a frequency sensitive Plasma Gate to an interior full of rich, fertile fields and farms warmed by a centrally located artificial Sun, Terra Machina exists as a testament to Mankind's ingenuity and tenacity for life.
